For the Tenant: A few important issues to note prior to renting a home in Bridgewater.
You are required to submit a background check for all persons planning to reside in the prospective home who are 18 years of age or older.
You are expected and required to follow the community covenants.
If you do not adhere to the covenants, the Association has the power to terminate your lease and evict you from your rental property.
You should research the rental property you are considering to determine if it is in foreclosure. If you do not verify the foreclosure status, you may be evicted if the property transfers. You can research the property at the Pasco County Clerk of Court
.
The Board encourages you to review the covenants prior to signing a lease to ensure you will be able to follow the covenants as required. For Example:
No commercial vehicles are allowed in the community.
You must not block the sidewalks with your vehicles.
You must maintain the grass and exterior of the home in accordance to the covenants.
No dogs are allowed to be off their leashes anywhere except the dog park. If you walk your dog, you must pick up after your dog.
All homes are single family homes and must be occupied as such per the covenant requirements
.
